Freelance Java Developer (Medior/Senior)

Our client is one of the leading companies in the finance / insurance sector.

We are seeking a freelance Java Developer (medior/senior) to join a leading company in the banking / insurance sector.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of high-quality AP'Is and software solutions.

You will work as part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.

- Master of Science degree in Information Systems, related degree; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Over 5 years of experience as senior Java developer.

- You have a proven record in building API's in Java using frameworks like Quarkus.

- Multidisciplinary IT knowledge of software, hardware and infrastructure.

- Experienced with a DevOps organization.

- Strong desire to drive lean processes with a focus on automation of IT

- You challenge yourself to keep your knowledge of Java and other technical skills up to date.

- Good command of spoken and written French or Dutch and English

- Preferably experience and knowledge in insurance or banking.

- Knowledge of Azure components like Azure API Management, Service plans, Function apps and Kubernetes are an added value
